Lentil Processing
Our state-of-the-art Lentil Processing Plant specializes in Mysore dhal. We import whole red lentils from Australia and Canada, ensuring only the finest quality. Our advanced processing techniques involve removing the husk and splitting the dhal, which we package in both 25 kg and retail packs. As one of the largest Mysore dhal processors in Sri Lanka, we boast a daily production capacity of 100 metric tons.
Pappadum Production
We manufacture premium pappadum under two beloved brands: Sun Papadum and Thulsi Papadum. Our pappadum is renowned for its exquisite taste and high quality, making it a favorite among consumers across the island.
Flour Milling
At our flour mill, we grind gram dhal to produce besan flour and yellow peas to create yellow pea flour. With a production capacity of 5 metric tons per day, we ensure a steady supply of high-quality flour to our customers.
Orid Dhal Milling
We source black orid from local farmers across Sri Lanka, processing it to produce white orid. With an impressive annual processing volume of over 1,000 metric tons, we ensure rigorous color sorting and packaging under our well-known Sun Brand.
Sugar Packaging
Our sugar packaging division focuses on repackaging sugar into convenient 1 kg packs, distributed under our Komas brand throughout the country. Our commitment to quality ensures customer satisfaction and trust.
Repackaging of Seeds, Nuts, and Dried Fruits
Omega Traders also offers a wide range of repackaged products, including chia seeds, pumpkin seeds, almonds, sunflower seeds, pistachios, cranberries, blueberries, dried kiwi, and dates. Our careful selection and packaging guarantee freshness and quality.
